Founded in 1863, PEI is well-known as a leading manufacturer of hydraulic presses with capacities from 10 to 10 000 tons. Over the last 20 years PEI has evolved into the field of increasingly highly automated solutions including the integration of upstream/downstream equipment and functions to produce and control high performance composite parts (thermosets and thermoplastics).

Pinette Emidecau Industries is pleased to announce that Jerome Hubert has taken over Lagoutte Holdings which includes Pinette Emidecau Industries. PEI is a well known engineering and manufacturing company for automatic composite moulding systems.

After graduating with an engineering and management degree, Jerome Hubert spent the last 25 years working in composites and automotive industries. His experience includes both commercial and managerial responsibilities in France and North America.

取得済みの2009年度版アレバ社サプライヤーラベルは2010年度版に更新されました。

当更新はAREVAとそのサプライヤー、パートナー企業において長期のビジネスにおける高品質のコラボレーション体制が構築されたことを示す重要な指標となっております。

Pinette Emidecau Industries (PEI)は、自動車及び航空宇宙業界において、10 000トン までの油圧プレスを含む自動成形ラインにおいて、プラスチック成形、複合材業界だけではなく、鉄道、原子力業界においても自動生産ラインの供給においてその名を知られております。
PEIは先日、Herz System- und Anlagentechnik GmbH社（ドイツ）の事業を引き継ぐため、ドイツ、ハンブルグに近いZernienにPinette Emidecau GmbHを設立いたしました。Herz社は自動車内外装の全自動ラインのサプライヤーとして、自動車メーカーのティア１サプライヤー、下請けメーカーに世界的に知られたメーカーです。

PEI presses are combined with COPERION twin-screw corotating compounders to produce D-LFT parts

Direct TV programmes are sent by geostationary satellites. One of them, as DIRECTV-9S launched on 13 October 2006, have been carried by ARIANE 5/ECA, the European launcher, currently the most efficient in terms of payload.

The satellite was boarded with 2 others : OPTUS D1 and the mini satellite LDREX 2, in the nose cone of the launcher, with a special design which allows to arrange the 3 satellites, and to release one after each other without trouble.

An ultra-light internal housing structure in composite material, SYLDA (double satellite launching system on Ariane), contains the 2 satellites OPTUS D1 and LDREX2, and supports the third during the flight.
After the ejection of the third satellite, SYLDA is opened by an ultra-fast  pyrotechnical cutting system, the upper part is released, so it allows the ejection of the 2 others.

This housing structure, manufactured in the Paris area, in a subsidiary of ASTRIUM SPACE TRANSPORTATION, is mounted with sandwich carbon fibers and aluminium honeycomb panels, presented on a model having the internal shape of the SYLDA and allowing to link those panels by bonding and riveting.

This machine referred to as “assembly and dimensional control jig for SYLDA” is completed by a 6 NC axis machining and control unit, and with adaptive access means so that the technicians can work in the best ergonomics and safety conditions, according to the 6 different housing shapes.

It has been made by a French Burgundian company, PINETTE EMIDECAU INDUSTRIES, in the field of activities of its special equipments and diversification department “SNEPRO”.

This challenge in terms of short planning and technological achievement owes its success to the multi competences of its technical experimented team, and to the close cooperation with its customer, which was deeply involved in this adventure too.
